Baps Swaminarayan Temple Dadar and Nagar Haveli
Built in 1822, it is the first temple of Swami Narayan sect which was built by Swami Adinath in the British period. This temple was built from Burmese teak wood. The carving done on it is very beautiful and the figures mentioned in many religious texts were tried to be engraved here and they were filled with beautiful colors. Swaminarayan installed many idols in this temple, apart from that he also brought the idols which he kept in his house of worship. Many religions are performed in this temple, their God is placed here and many of their idols are also displayed. This temple has special section for women where education and ceremonies are held for them. This temple is a festival of colors dipped in the ancient colors of the old city. Nara Narayan is the main deity of this temple.
Church of Our Lady of Piety Dadar and Nagar Haveli
Church of Our Lady of Piety is one of the oldest Portuguese churches standing in the region around the Church was damaged by an earthquake that shook this area back in 1912. It was closed for renovation and was again opened in June 1924. It is presently managed by the society of Pila of Silvassa.
Madhuban Dam Dadar and Nagar Haveli
