Ram Jhula is known as a major site of Rishikesh. This place is located at a distance of 3 km from Muni cultivation. Here an iron bridge has been constructed over the river Ganges. And the vehicle also starts coming on it. This bridge is bigger than the Laxman Jhula which connects Swargashram with Shivanand Ashram, it seems to be swinging when people walk on the Ram swing. A panoramic view of the Ganga flowing down from the top of the Ram swing can be enjoyed.

The credit for building this temple and inner pavilion goes to Badami Chalukyas who constructed it in the 7th century whereas Kalyani Chalukyas constructed the outer pavilions in front of the Badami Kund in the 11th century. Jain paintings and incarnations of Lord Vishnu have been carved on the rocks behind the temple which are still visible today. This temple was constructed in the 5th century on the eastern side of Agastya lake on top of a small hill; This temple is located in front of the nearby fort.

The bridge is 450 feet long. It is constructed from iron. Vehicles also pass through this swing. Laxman Jhula is one of the most prominent sites in Rishikesh. This bridge is of British era. The hammock is about 90 years old, and is a landmark of Rishikesh. It is said that Lakshmana crossed the Ganges on the ropes of jute during the construction of this bridge. Neer Garh Falls is located 9 km from Rishikesh railway station, this waterfall is a natural spring located on the Rishikesh-Badrinath highway in Uttarakhand. It is one of the popular tourist destinations to visit in Rishikesh. It is situated amidst dense forests and is 5 km from the Lakshman Jhula, it is a two level waterfall with two level baths. After the trek 200 meters from the road there is a very small waterfall where visitors can also take a bath in a small pool. The 1.2 km trek ahead will lead you to the large and main waterfall, which has a large pool. Butterflies of various species are seen waving around the wild flowers, which adds beauty to this wonderful place. It is with a two bath pool. There are two levels of waterfall. After the trek 200 meters from the road there is a very small waterfall where visitors can also take a bath in a small pool. Rishikund is a holy tank located near the Triveni Ghat in Rishikesh. It is believed that the Goddess of Yamuna River was pleased with the gentleness of the Sun God and filled the lake with its water. Nilkanth Mahadev temple situated at the confluence point of Pankaja and Madhumati rivers of Rishikesh is a famous religious center. Due to being situated on top of a hill at an altitude of 1330 meters above sea level, this pilgrim offers wonderful views of Vishnukoot, Brahmakut and Manikoot hills. This temple is dedicated to Lord Dev, the Hindu god of destruction, which is also called Neelkanth, because it is believed that due to drinking the artificial poison released during the ocean, his throats got blue. It is also believed that this mythological event took place on this site, hence this temple is called Neelkanth Mahadev Temple. Hundreds of devotees come to this temple in the month of Shravan (July-August). This month is considered sacred for the worship of Lord Shiva. Devotees come to this temple even on Shivratri, the popular festival that falls in the month of Phalgun of Hindu Calendar.
